WoCFN is a community and coaching network for women of colour starting out in business through to building six-figure businesses and scaling to seven.
We work with women who have already made bold moves—and are now looking for structure, clarity, and strategy to grow their business on their own terms.
We started as a storytelling platform, amplifying the voices of founders. Today, we’re a space for high-level growth through mindset, personal branding, and strategic marketing.

Why We Exist
The data speaks for itself:
- Just 0.3% of startup funding in Australia goes to Black and Brown women
- Fewer than 2% of women of colour are business owners
This isn’t about lack of ambition. It’s about access, strategy, and networks that actually work.
The WoCFN exists to help women who are already building—go further, faster, with support that makes sense for them.
The Problem We Solve
Despite their expertise, ambition, and resilience, many Women of Colour in business face:

Meet The Founder
Alicent Wong
Alicent is the founder of the Women of Colour Founders Network, a community built to support, connect and elevate women of colour building businesses. Through it, she creates spaces where founders access practical knowledge and form relationships that reflect the real conditions of entrepreneurship, shaped by an understanding of the ambitions and challenges the women in the program actually face.
Alicent Wong also is a Confidence Coach certified in NLP and Time Line Therapy, specialising in helping high-achieving women stop self-sabotage and step into their full power, whether they’re building a business or leading within one.
With over 20 years of digital marketing experience working with global brands including Apple and Microsoft across Asia Pacific and Australia, she knows firsthand what it takes to build, scale and lead in high-pressure environments whilst overcoming adversities as a migrant woman of colour entrepreneur. She co-founded and exited a boutique 7-figure digital marketing agency in Sydney with offices in Seoul before transitioning into founding the WoC Founders Network and coaching.
